Prince Louis is loved by fans for joking around at royal events, and there's another young royal with whom he is often seen interacting.

Royal children grow up under the limelight and it is normal for them to get bored when they are on ceremony. Louis, six, the youngest child of Prince William and Princess Kate, is often seen larking about - most famously during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations when he made funny faces at his mum.

And it seems there's one person who he plays around with while she also manages to keep him in check when he goes too far. It is Mia Tindall, daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, who is close friends with her royal cousin.

The granddaughter of Princess Anne, Mia, 10, has been spotted calming her younger cousin Prince Louis down when he is throwing a tantrum. During the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations Mia was pictured making Louis laugh from her seat and at Christmas 2023, the cousins were pictured chatting and holding hands as the entered St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.

But It's not just Louis and Mia who are good friends, with many royal kids often attending the festivities together and Louis, with his older siblings Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine, alongside Mia, were pictured together at a royal event.

The cousins were cramped together at a window as they looked out onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Trooping the Colour in 2022. Mia also has siblings of her own, Lena, five and Lucas, two, and doesn't hold a royal title as her mum Zara was never given one in her childhood, as per Princess Anne's wishes.

While the Tindall children are not in line to the throne, they could potentially pick up royal titles, as the monarchy is trying to focus on younger royals in the wake of the Sussexes' departure. Sources have revealed that one of the main focuses of a summer summit in Balmoral was the next generation of royals who can ensure the monarchy's legacy.

"The strategy now is to move away from focusing on what the Sussexes are doing and place an emphasis on the next generation of royals," said an insider, reported the Express. "The future of the Royal Family doesn't just hinge on the Wales family but also on other members of the Royal Family that hold a visible profile in this country and around the world. It's all about building a brand and the family recognises that."
