Amazon has more than 50% off 'brilliant' Philips electric shaver — but only until midnight

An electric shaver is something you want to avoid cutting corners on. After all, anyone who grows facial hair will likely be using it quite a bit — whether that's to go clean-shaven or to trim their beard — and you want to do a good job.

Fortunately, we've spotted a fantastic offer on a top-selling model, saving you some cash on a gadget that should last for years. For Prime Day, Amazon has reduced the Philips Electric Shaver 3000 Series price from £199.99 down to £52.99.

That's a huge reduction of over half the price. But the deal won't last long, so you'll have to act quickly to take advantage of it.

This high-tech gadget promises a smooth and clean shave without nicks or scrapes. As it's electric, you'll save yourself a lot of time compared to using a traditional manual razor, and with up to two years of self-sharpening blades, maintenance on the shaver is minimal.

Shaves beautifully close and smoothly and are easy to maintain," echoed another satisfied user, summarizing the positive feedback.

"Charges quickly and holds a charge for an unexpectedly long time. Gives a nice, quick, clean, non-irritating shave," added a third, piling on to the chorus of rave reviews.

However, not all opinions were glowing, as some buyers pointed out aspects that didn't quite hit the mark. "Only minor disappointment is that it does not include a pouch," cautioned one purchaser.

Another pointedly remarked: "The shaver doesn't include the usual small cleaning brush, and its charger requires a USB connection plug which also isn't provided."

For those with cash to splash and an eye for top-of-the-line grooming gadgets, the Braun Series 9 Pro model cuts above the rest and is currently on offer, slashed from £539 to a more palatable £280.
