An urgent appeal has been launched in connection with an incident that saw a man 'commit an inappropriate act' while staring at a group of teenage girls on a bus in Greater Manchester.

An investigation into the public indecency incident is underway, with Greater Manchester Police now sharing an image of a man they want to speak to as part of enquiries.

The force said that an unknown man boarded a bus at 6pm on May 25 this year, along Warren Street in Stockport. The bus was travelling to Ashton-under-Lyne.

"Officers are now appealing for more information on this incident and would like to speak to the man pictured in relation to this," the force said in a statement.
