Police close main road in Bury amid 'medical emergency'

A stretch of Jubilee Way, the A58, has been taped off by officers. According to traffic alert service Inrix, it is closed in both directions from Manchester Road to Tenterden Street.
Paramedics are also on the scene. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers were first called at around 11.15am to reports of a 'medical emergency'.

A man - aged in his 70s - has suffered a medical episode. The incident is ongoing, with no further details about the man released at this stage.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "Police were called at 11.15am by the North West Ambulance Service. A man aged in his 70s has suffered a medical emergency and the incident is ongoing."
