'Do not eat' warning issued over Tesco mince pies that may contain GLUE
by James Holt · Manchester Evening NewsA 'do not eat' warning has been issued over supermarket mince pies that may contain traces of glue. Tesco has recalled their Tesco Finest 6 All Butter Pastry Mince Pies because they may be unsafe to eat.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued the alert on Thursday (October 3), which revealed that batches of the mince pies could contain pieces of dried glue from the packaging.
The products being recalled include those with best before dates of October 4, October 26, November 2 and November 10 of this year.

Tesco has issued the recall notice, with shoppers urged not to eat the product and, if purchased, return them to any store for a full refund.
The FSA alert says: £Tesco are recalling Tesco Finest 6 All Butter Pastry Mince Pies because they may contain pieces of dried glue from packaging which makes them unsafe to eat.
"The products may contain small pieces of dry glue from the packaging making them unsafe to eat. Tesco is recalling the above product and has issued a recall notice.
"If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to any store for a full refund. For more information contact Tesco Customer Service Team on 0800 505 555."
