Pete Wicks joked 'we've been kicked out' as he made a hilarious dig at his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars. The podcast host and reality star is preparing for his next live performance with professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.

The pair were seen making it through to week eight of the BBC One dance contest last weekend after having a difficult night in the ballroom which left Pete apologising to Jowita.

Dressed as the late Freddie Mercury for the show's first-ever 'Icons Week', former The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) star Pete performed to a salsa to Queen's Another One Bites the Dust alongside his dance partner.

After their salsa, Pete, who could be heard repeatedly telling dance partner Jowita "I’m sorry" to which she replied "it’s ok". But soon after they landed at the bottom of the leaderboard with 22 out of a possible 40 points.

It was then confirmed during Sunday night's (November 3) results show that Pete and Jowita had made it through to another week of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series.

Pete later hinted that something special was on the cards for his next performance in a social media post. Alongside a string of epic snaps in which he could be seen channelling Freddie, the 36-year-old said: "I don’t even know what to say…I’m very humbled and a bit overwhelmed. It wasn’t a good night for me and I know just how lucky I am to still be part of the show but thank you everyone."

"@jowitaprzystal worked so hard last week and there is no way I would have ever made it this far without her." It is then when he vowed: "I will bounce back," before adding: "This week is a gonna be a bit of an emotional one for me and your support means so much."

It's now been confirmed he and Jowita will be performing a couple's choice routine to The Best by Nicotine Dolls. However, their training was disrupted by the arrival of their competitors Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas.

In a video posted to Jowita's Instagram Story, Pete said: "So we are at rehearsals at the minute but unfortuntely we've just been kicked out. We're not allowed to train here any more. Jamie literally came in and said, 'Oi, I'm a better dancer, get out now! I wan this studio'. I said I'm trying my best but he's just like, 'Get out!' so we're leaving."

He jokingly added: "They've stolen the studio because they've got an Argentine Tango and apparently it's really hard." As Pete walked off, EastEnders star Jamie mocked Pete by saying: "Oh wow, Couple's Choice!" before they all burst out laughing procing it was all in jest.
