BBC Strictly Come Dancing spoiler leak has fans 'baffled' as they 'didn't see it coming'

Strictly Come Dancing fanshave said they are 'baffled' as they responded to the early leak of who faced the latest dreaded dance-off ahead of it being aired on TV.

The BBC One dance contest was back on Saturday night (October 19) with the remaining 12 couples hoping to impress and make it through to next weekend's iconic Halloween special.

While the perfect score wasn't awarded again this weekend, there were some near-perfect marks as the leaderboard was topped by EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick and Olympian Montell Douglas with both on 39 points.

Jamie and his professional partner Michelle Tsiakkas opted for a matador-inspired paso doble routine to flamenco song Malaguena by Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona, which Anton Du Beke praised saying "you will never dance a better dance than that, you were brilliant".

Meanwhile Montell and Johannes Radebe closed the show with their carnival-inspired couple’s choice, which means they do not have to dance a set routine, to Skeleton Move by KG and Zanda Zakuza which was praised by Motsi Mabuse who said they "exploded with energy" on the dancefloor.

Elsewhere in the ballroom JLS star JB Gill and Amy Dowden opened the show for the first time, and were given 30 points for their jive routine to Outkast’s Hey Ya!, while comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell’s waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone by Gerry and the Pacemakers brought the stuido auidence and viewers to tears as they received 35 points.

But some Strictly fans have been left 'baffled' after a leaked spoiler revealed which celebrity left the competition this weekend. The results show airs on Sunday but is pre-recorded on the Saturday night after the live show, meaning that the name of the axed star is often leaked online.

While the Manchester Evening News won't be revealing the bottom two or exit results, fans have already been reacting online. One said: "Blimey. Did not see one of those coming at all." A second echoed: "Definitely didn’t expect one of those to be in the bottom 2."

Another simply commented: "Baffled!!" A foruth claimed it was "absolutely ridiculous". Another shared: "I actually did expect this tbh." A fan also added: "Blimey a few of the celebs will be breathing a sigh of relief they dodged a bullet of not being In the dance off...."
