Sean 'Diddy' Combs accused of sexual assault against six people, including 16-year-old boy

Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing a new series of allegations, with lawsuits claiming the hip-hop mogul committed rape, sexually assaulted men, and molested a 16 year old boy.

The legal actions were initiated in federal court in Manhattan on Monday, with at least six anonymous filings - two from women under the pseudonym Jane Does and four from men as John Does. Lawyers for the accusers suggest that these individuals are among a larger group of over 100 alleged victims preparing to take legal steps against Combs following his arrest last month on sex trafficking charges.

One claimant, a North Carolina resident referred to as one of the John Does, accuses Combs of groping him at one of the rapper's famous white party in the Hamptons, Long Island, in 1998 when he was just 16. The lawsuit details an incident where, during a discussion about entering the music industry, Combs allegedly demanded the then-teenager to expose himself so Combs could examine his genitals, describing it as a necessary step towards stardom and asking the youth: "Don't you want to break into the business?"

The man said he complied out of fear, anxiety and power imbalance he felt with Combs, only realising later that what had happened was sexual assault.

Other claims lodged include accusations of rape, coerced oral sex, and the use of drugs to render victims helpless. Prior to these recent lawsuits, Combs had faced only civil suits and a criminal indictment concerning sexual conduct with adults.

Combs' legal team and representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment via email, reports PA. When the impending lawsuits were made public on October 1, a solicitor representing Combs remarked that he "cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus".

At 54-years-old, Combs has entered a plea of not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. The allegations accuse him of coercing and abusing women over several years with assistance from a network of colleagues and employees, while using threats, violence, including kidnapping, arson, and physical assaults, to silence his victims.

Efforts by Combs' attorneys to secure bail for the founder of Bad Boy Records have been unsuccessful thus far. Since his arrest on September 16, he has been detained at a federal jail in Brooklyn. Two judges have determined that releasing Combs from the Metropolitan Detention Centre, which has long been afflicted by issues of violence and dysfunction, would pose a risk to the community.

A judge dismissed a proposed bail arrangement worth 50 million dollars, which included house arrest and electronic monitoring, at a bail hearing three weeks ago, ruling that Combs posed a risk of witness tampering and could interfere with an ongoing investigation. On Friday, a judge from the appeals court denied Combs' request for immediate release from custody, pending a decision on his bail application by a three-judge panel from the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals.
