How much a pint of beer costs at the Manchester Christmas Markets 2024

Manchester Christmas Markets are back as wooden huts fill the city centre for the next six weeks.

A traditional staple of the city’s cultural calendar, the festival is attended by thousands of people each year with many people visiting from all over the country. As with most of its kind, there’s a wealth of hot dogs, mulled wine and sweet treats on offer from hundreds of traders.

As usual, the markets will be dotted across the city with usual set-ups in spots like Piccadilly Gardens and Exchange Square - and will be frequented by families, tourists, those looking for something to do at the weekend and others looking for an after-work treat.

One of the biggest discussions around the Manchester Christmas Markets usually tends to revolve around the price of things - and the cost of a pint is one of the most regularly asked about things when it comes to the event.

With that in mind, we’ve scoured as many stalls as we can as the markets get underway to find out how much the price of beer and cider is going to fetch you back this year.

It's looking like the cheapest pint of beer within the stalls can be found for around £6, with the cheapest pint of cider available at around the £5.50 price point. But, obviously, prices vary based on brands and alcohol content, and may also change over time.
