Marks and Spencer is selling a winter jumper that looks far more 'luxurious' than its £27.50 price tag. The sweatshirt, which has an eye-catching design that's bound to turn heads, has quickly found itself a a bestseller amongst M&S shoppers.

Marks and Spencer's M&S Collection Pure Cotton Ombre Sweatshirt is a comfortable pick with jeans or leggings for casual days, and can also be worn over skirts and more formal trousers for a more dressed up look.

The jumper, which comes in sizes Extra Small to Extra Large, is cut in our regular fit, with long sleeves and a crew neck. The star of the show, though, is its ombre design, which elevates an otherwise basic staple piece.

Marks and Spencer shoppers have been blown away by the purse-friendly jumper, and it's seen some impressive reviews online. Thus far it's garnered an impressive rating of 4.7 out of five stars, with those who have bought it having virtually nothing negative to say.

Giving it five stars, one M&S customer raved: "I love this sweatshirt. The colours are lovely. Its super soft and very comfortable. It washes nicely too."

A second said: "Really comfortable and great looking sweatshirt and very 'now'. I tool a medium and I am usually a 12-14 and it looked just right, not too baggy but not too close fitting for the oversized look it is meant to be"

"Top, everyone admired this as goes well with the cream tracksuit pants I got with it," penned a third. While a fourth added: "Really good design. Good value for money sweatshirt. Great as the days are turning colder."

"Good quality sweatshirt that will go with lots of clothes," commented another. Somebody else said: "Love the ombré effect on this sweatshirt. Very subtle and looks great with black, brown or cream. Excellent quality, true to size and very cosy."

Unimpressed with the sizing, one wrote: "Quality of Material was good, however it came up very large for me. I shall return the item this week."

But somebody else said: "This is a stunning, universal and timeless piece. It drapes really well and hugs the body nicely. The price is reasonable and the design looks luxurious. A statement piece, highly recommended."

Elsewhere, Oliver Bonas' Pink & Orange Ombre Sweatshirt is more vibrant than the M&S option, but also more expensive, at £50. Or at Next, the £38 Oversized Ombre Gradient Dip Dye Soft Touch Longline Heavyweight Sweatshirt is a similar option, and comes in two colourways.
