BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans ask 'are they sure' after spotting 'disconcerting' Pete Wicks change
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsPete Wicks stunned Strictly Come Dancing fans for a second week in a row as he returned to the ballroom. Last weekend, the reality star and podcast host left jaws on the floor when he performed in an animal-print loincloth.
Pete channelled George of the Jungle for his Movie Week routine alongside his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal. And tonight (October 12), the former TOWIE star was seen debuting another new look.
Before Pete and Jowita performed their latest routine, Pete treated viewers to a sneak peek at their outfits and Pete's hair transformation caused a stir amongst viewers watching at home.
They later took to dancefloor with their Quickstep to A Town Called Malice by The Jam and while it impressed viewers, Craig Revel Horwood was quick to point out that his hip rolls didn't belong in his routine, which landed them a total of 29 points out of 40.
Head judge Shirley Ballas, however, sang Pete's praises as she said she 'loved the smouldering look' between Pete and his dance partner and told him that he was 'improving week by week'.
Anton, however, may have given Pee the best compliment of all as after saying the routine was 'absolutely brilliant', he told Pete he has 'so much potential' to make it to the final of the BBC One dance contest.
But as mentioned, Strictly viewers were flocking to social media to discuss Pete's new hair. @EloquentParrot said: "Pete's hair is disconcerting. #Strictly." @fifisyms commented: "Pete nailed it. Mesmerised by the hair. #Strictly." @teenamassam asked: "Are they sure that was Pete Wicks… #Strictly."
