BBC Strictly Come Dancing star who 'won't be in bottom two' in Halloween week 'named'

by · Manchester Evening News

A former Strictly Come Dancing star has named who 'won't be in the bottom two this weekend. The 11 remaining couples will be hoping for a treat, not trick, as the Halloween festivities arrive in the ballroom.

On Saturday night (October 26) those who made it through to week six of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series will take to the ballroom floor once again, this time dressed in spooky attire.

It'll then be during the results show on Sunday night (October 27) that Strictly's talented pro dancers will showcase a routine, choreographed by Matt Flint, that sees Carlos Gu dressed as the lead character of Tim Burton’s 1988 horror comedy film – and its sequel, released last month.

Now, former Strictly champion Ola Jordan has named the couple she thinks is at risk of going home this weekend who she thinks will avoid the dreaded dance-off following last weekend's shock bottom two.

According to bookmakers, Dr Punam Krishan is the current favourite to leave Strictly this weekend, and Ola agrees that she will go but also named who else she doesn't think is same from the spooky chop.

Speaking to Mecca Bingo, she said: "I think Punam and Pete [Wicks] are the weakest links in the competition – they’re the two worst dancers I would say. They both have ballroom numbers, so they’ll probably be okay. I think someone good will be in the bottom two this week, possibly Shayne [Ward] again even though I always thought Shayne would be good, I don’t think he’s that great and he’s got Paso Doble this week so he might be in the bottom two.

"Then you’ve got people like Sam [Quek], but I think Sam is still going to hang on. With Punam and Pete being the weakest dancers, I think Pete has more of a following, so he might possibly be getting more votes. I think Punam might be in the bottom two with a good dancer – someone like Shayne."

Ola added: "I don’t think JB will be in the bottom two as he was in the bottom two last week and the judges will do everything to save him from being there again."
