BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Jamie Borthwick says 'we've left training' as fans say 'no wonder'
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsJamie Borthwick may have just won himself more fans as he told his online following that he and dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas had 'left training' for Strictly Come Dancing.
The EastEnders actor and the professional dancer are currently back in rehearsals after making it through to week eight of the BBC One dance contest. Heading into the last live show, the pair were riding high after impressing during the show's annual Halloween special.
Their Addams Family-themed American Smooth to the film’s original theme saw Jamie and Michelle playing siblings Pugsley and Wednesday. But Jamie had another person to channel as he took on George Michael during the Strictly's first-ever 'Icons Week' during last Saturday night's (November 3) show.

And Jamie and Michelle scored 31 points for their samba to the singer's famous track 'Faith', with soap star Jamie channelling the late singer with a blonde hairdo and classic pair of Ray-Bans.
It was later confirmed that Jamie and Michelle had made it through to week eight of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series and it's been revealed Jamie and Michelle will be performing an Argentine Tango to Do I Wanna Know? by Arctic Monkeys.
But on Wednesday (November 6), Jamie and Michelle revealed they had a break from the training room. In a video posted to Michelle's Instagram page, the pair are seen standing outside West Ham United's training ground in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
In the clip, Jamie said: "We've decided to leave Strictly training." After a brief pause, Michelle then added: "And join West Ham United instead!" In between, the pair were seen clicking their fingers and jumping up in the air to change outfits into the football team's training kit. Jamie ended the clip and said: "Come on you Irons!"
