Coronation Street star dubbed 'prettiest' as she appears worlds away from Lauren Bolton with soap 'twin'

Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has been flooded with comments after being seen enjoying time away from the cobbles with her castmates.

The actress looked worlds away from Lauren Bolton who is currently continuing to face a difficult time in Weatherfield with her son Frankie still in the hospital after being born prematurely.

As viewers of the ITV soap know, Lauren went missing earlier this year and was presumed dead before it was revealed that she'd ran away after being viciously attacked with a chair leg by her 'secret boyfriend' Joel Deering.

It wasn't until July that it was confirmed that Lauren had amazingly survived the brutal bashing and her return came as she appeared at Roy's bedside after he suffered a heart attack in his beloved café when being confronted by a group of yobs over Lauren's disappearance and 'death'.

Joel's partner Dee-Dee Bailey soon discovered what her fiancé had been up to and has since teamed up with DS Lisa Swain to bring Joel down after it was revealed that Lauren, who was pregnant when she came back to the cobbles, wasn't the only young girl he had groomed.

But at the end of last month, Corrie viewers saw Joel not show up to his plea hearing and a warrant was issued for his arrest after he was charged with buying the drugs used to prompt Lauren's early labour, having intended for her to miscarry, leaving their son Frankie's health at risk.

Corrie fans have now been delighted to see Cait enjoying some light relief from her harrowing storyline as she headed out to celebrate her Amy Barlow co-star Elle Mulvaney's 22nd birthday over the weekend.

Taking to Instagram, Cait shared a number of snaps in which she could be seen posing for the camera. The soap star looked gorgeous as she smiled for the camera while sporting an off-the-should cream knit tucked into mini skirt which she pared with some barely-there heels and a lereliefopard-print bag.

"Celebrating 22 years of @ellejmulvaney," she captioned the post before the compliments came flooding in. Elle herself responded with a love heart eyes emoji while fellow Corrie star Sally Carman-Duttine, who plays Abi Webster, replied: "LOVE that outfit!" Betsy Swain actress Sydney Martin also commented: "Prettiest girlie."

Cait was also seen alongside Sydney as they headed to the birthday gathering together with Liam McCheyne, who plays Weatherfield's Dylan Mason. She shared a picture of herself and Sydney having a giggle as Liam seemingly snapped them both outside the 8 Manchester Chinese restaurant in Whitefield before she posed for a photo with him too.

"The dream team," Cait captioned the post which she also shared to her Instagram Story and wrote 'Twin' alongside a pink heart emoji. Repsponding, Syndey replied: "Oh I adore you both," before fans flooded the comments with praise for the two actresses.
