BBC Strictly Come Dancing star predicts three finalists and 'who could win' 2024 series
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsFormer Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan has named who she thinks are three of this year's four potential finalists and revealed who she thinks could win the whole 2024 series.
The latest live show on Saturday night (November 2) saw the 10 remaining couples fighting for their place in the BBC One dance contest during the show's first-ever 'Icons Week', which was introduced by the BBC to celebrate the show's 20th anniversary this year.
The new themed week saw the celebrities and their professional dance partners take to the dance floor to perform a routine accompanied by a track from a well-known singer or band - with the likes of Madonna, George Michael and Bruno Mars all chosen.

It was another near-perfect for former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec following their moving couple's choice routine to P!nk's What About Us. They shared the latest top spot with JB Gill who achieved his first 10s of the series with new dance partner Lauren Oakley.
Lauren, who didn't have a partner for this year’s series of the BBC dancing show, stood in for her Amy Dowden and performed a Bruno Mars medley with JB during the latest live show, for a score of 39 out of a possible 40 - his highest score of the series. It has since been confirmed Lauren will continue in the competition with JB after Amy was forced to withdraw with a foot injury.
The two couples were followed closely on the leaderboard was Miranda actor Sarah Hadland and her professional partner Vito Coppola as they scored 37 for their cha cha to Madonna’s Just Like A Prayer. Meanwhile, Pete Wicks had a tricky night in the ballroom as he channelled Freddie Mercury while performing a salsa to Queen's Another One Bites The Dust' with dance partner Jowita Pryzstal.

But Ola, who was a pro dancer on Strictly from 2006 to 2015, has told who she thinks is worthy of a place in the final and who she thinks could be lifting the Glitterball trophy next month. She told Mecca Bingo: "I think Sarah could win. I think all her dancers were amazing.
"She is definitely one of the contenders for the final – more than Jamie [Borthwick] for me, and I would have said the other way around when I saw the lineup as he won the Christmas special. She deserves more than anyone to be in that final at the moment!"
She added: "For me right now, the finalists would be Tasha, Sarah and JB at the moment, maybe Chris [McCausland] but at the moment JB, Tasha and Sarah, especially after JB’s last dance.
"I wouldn't have said that last week with JB. I just hope that he's going to continue that level now because it’s going to be hard. He got three 10s and a 9, it’s going to be hard for him to continue and maintain that level but he has to do that if he wants to stay in the competition and be a contender for the final.”
