Man City guaranteed to be without four players vs Wolves as Nathan Ake and Kevin De Bruyne calls made

by · Manchester Evening News

Manchester City will not risk Nathan Ake or Kevin De Bruyne in the weekend Premier League clash at Wolves.

Both have been sidelined for a number of weeks with hamstring and thigh issues respectively and although the pair are now able to train, Pep Guardiola has ruled out the duo featuring at Molineux on Sunday. The pair could travel as part of the squad and both are closing in on a return.

Ake and De Bruyne join long-term absentees Rodri and Oscar Bobb as players who won't feature against Wolves while City will make a decision on Ederson and Savinho after the pair's exertions on international duty for Brazil but both will travel and will likely be available. Manuel Akanji also has a knock and is a doubt for Sunday. Here's the latest injury news from the City treatment room.
