Zara McDermott jokes why she and Sam Thompson will 'stay together' after distracting with home detail

Zara McDermott has joked about the reason she and Sam Thompson will 'stay together' after fans were left distracted by a particularly large detail in their home.

The couple, who started dating back in 2019, are often keeping their followers entertained by sharing their hilarious videos and life updates on social media and sparked concern earlier this year when they took their relationship offline.

It later emerged Zara had been battling with her thoughts around her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing 2023 before issuing a statement detailing the heartbreaking truth which led to professional dancer Graziano Di Prima being dropped from the hit dance show.

Since then, the pair have been back sharing honest updates, and funny posts, with their online following and in their latest update, the pair could be seen filming themselves enjoying a moment of calm and self-care in their bed.

In the clip, Zara can be seen in her pyjamas with eye masks on, her hair pulled back with a fluffy headband with her laptop on her lap and snacks surrounding her. "Don't you want to judge me, just a little bit?" she mouths along to the voiceover which is from Sex and The City.

In the scene, Carrie Bradshaw, after telling Samantha that she's sleeping with Mr Big, she asks: "Don't you wanna judge me, just a little bit?" and Samantha Jones winks and says: "Not my style."

Continuing their skit, the camera pans to Sam, who is also wearing eye masks and his hair pushed back with a pink headband while sporting heart-covered pyjamas before he repeats Samamtha's iconic line. The couple are then seen lying next to each other in bed before doing a 'cheers' motion with their water flasks.

Captioning the post on Instgaram, Sam wrote: "No judgment here," alongside a crying laughing emoji. Zara reshared the post to her Instagram Story and commented: "Couples that self care together, stay together," alongside a crying laughing emoji.

But fans found themselves distracted by the same detail. @loristrange_renozi asked: "What the hell size is that bed?!" @dizzyhomelife said: "That’s a massive bed." @gemini_claire commented: "How big is your bed!!" @proudy77 wrote: "That bed is HUGE!" @lynseyflanuk added: "Need that bed please confirm where from lol."

Zara was seen responding to one of the comments saying it's a 'super king', which is described as the largest standard bed size in the UK, measuring 6ft wide by 6ft6in long.
