Stacey Solomon says 'don't worry' as she addresses changed appearance after 'best birthday'

Stacey Solomon has told fans 'don't worry' as she asked her followers to refrain from sharing a certain comment with her as she told how she celebrated her birthday.

Ahead of her special day, which was on Friday (October 4), the Loose Women star was feeling all the emotions as it was also her daughter Rose's birthday.

Stacey and her husband Joe Swash welcomed their first daughter together, Rose, back in 2021 and the mother and daughter share a birthday, with Rose turning three as her mum turned 35 this year.

Over the weekend, Stacey gave a glimpse at her and Rose's special day. Taking to Instagram, she shared pictures of her and Rose beaming for the camera as they sported matching birthday sweatshirts.

It also appeared that Rose is a huge fan of Lilo and Stitch, as a themed cake, balloons and a fluffy Stitch toy could all be seen around them. Captinong the post to her 6.3 million followers, Stacey wrote: "35 & 3. Happy birthday to us Rose…

"You truly are the best birthday gift I could have ever dreamed of. You light up our lives more than you’ll ever know. Every year it gets more & more special. To the moon and back darling girl. I can not believe it’s been three whole years [crying face emoji]. Thank you everyone for the loveliest birthday messages ever. To the moon & back guys."

Now, Stacey has returned to her Instagram page with more pictures of the birthday pair posing for the camera outside their Essex home, called Pickle Cottage. "Love these pictures of us Rose," she gushed in the caption. "I’ve had the best birthday weekend with you. You are such a ray of light… to the moon and back darling girl. Happy birthday."

But on Monday (October 7), the Sort Your Life Out host was seen addressing her new look as she was seen sporting a pair of glasses in her latest post. Speaking directly to the camera, Stacey said: "I've had the loveliest laziest weekend, it's been so nice. On Saturday, me and Rose went shopping together. We just went out just the two of us and when I saw shopping, it was three shops and had food.

"Then yesterday I did nothing. Stayed in my comfies all day, the family popped by and literally, I've just loved it..." In the clip, Stacey could be seen enjoying a cuppa in her white skull mug but she was again rocking her oversized, clear-frame glasses.

Addressing her new look, the mum-of-five said: "I got myself some new glasses for my birthday. Well, that's what me and Rose went shopping for. I think the last time I bought a pair of glasses was just after Rose was born so there years ago. I got my eyes tested and got myself some new glasses and I'm saying that out loud, I'm realizing just how sad and pathetic that is but I got very excited..."

She added: "I feel like when you get new glasses you get a new face. Look at me! I bet when I came on this morning you were like, 'Who's that?' It's me, I've just got some new glasses.

"I'm like a new woman. I didn't know and I still don't know if I can pull them off my I like them so please refrain from telling me I look like Dame Edna or whatever..." SHe also wrote alongside the post: "If you can't recognise be, don't worry. It's still me, it's just the glasses," before adding crying laughing emojis."
