Shoppers snap up designer Ghost perfume for under £11 in Debenhams Blue Cross sale

With Christmas just around the corner, many shoppers will be on the hunt for the perfect stocking stuffers that their loved ones will actually use. If there's a perfume lover in your life, you'll want to check out this mini set from Debenhams.

The online retailer is offering the Ghost Orb of Night Miniature Bauble Eau De Parfum Gift Set for £10.80 in its Blue Cross sale. It contains a travel-friendly 10ml bottle of Orb of Night and a blush lip oil housed in a gorgeous pink bauble that's also perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree.

Launched in 2021, Orb of Night is a floral fruity gourmand fragrance with caramel and almond undertones. The nose behind the scent is Pierre-Constantin Guéros, who has also worked on Carolina Herrera perfumes, as well as Givenchy and Lanvin, among others.

A cosy, warm and pretty scent, Orb of Night features caramel, sandalwood and ylang ylang notes with cherry and almond in the background. It's said to not be overly sweet or overpowering, being perfect for wearing everyday whether it's to work or while running errands.

While the Debenhams gift set is yet to earn a review, the 30ml bottle - which is available for £22.90 down from £27.47 on Amazon - boasts an overall rating of 4.7 out of five from over 260 ratings. Giving the perfume a glowing five stars, one shopper said: "Lovely scent for an everyday perfume. Can still smell it on the clothes at the end of the day."

A second wrote: "I love this perfume. It's become my new favourite perfume, it smells amazing. I have lots of Ghost perfumes."

Somebody else said: "This fragrance is just amazing, perfect for those who love sweet and gourmand scents. It smells of almonds with very fruity notes. This perfume is crazy, it holds very well on my skin. You don't need to put a lot of it on."

Among the not so glowing reviews, one person hailed the perfume as 'not as good as the original'. They said: "I actually expected more from the scent. It doesn't smell bad but the other scent simply smells better. I wouldn't buy this one again."

But another loved their latest fragrance purchase, adding: "I love this perfume so much, it's my new favourite. It smells beautiful and I get lots of compliments on it. Thank you very much, will buy again."
