Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she was 'waiting up for hours' to hear Liam Payne's death 'wasn't true' after admitting the news 'hit her hard'. The influencer, 25, has confessed she 'hasn't stopped thinking' about the former One Direction singer after his tragic death on October 16.

The former Love Island star has now opened up about her feelings surrounding Liam's passing in a new vlog shared to her YouTube channel. The singer, 31, was on holiday in Buenos Aires, Argentina when he fell from the third-floor balcony of his room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

It is now being reported that Liam 'fainted' and fell from balcony, as broadcast journalist Paula Varela said on Buenos Aires-based TV station Canal 13: "There is footage that is not being released to the media with the balcony scene where you see that Liam faints and tragically because of where he is, falls from that balcony. If he had been beside his bed he would have fallen on his bed."

Speaking about the devastating news that shocked many across the world, Molly-Mae shared with her fans in her latest video titled 'a new week with me': "Life's just been a lot recently and also in the last couple of days I've literally not been able to stop thinking about Liam Payne.

"The way that news hit me. Literally, I'd say I haven't stopped thinking about it, like I just can't fathom it. I literally cannot believe in the slightest that he's passed away. I don't know like I met him a good few times, probably four or five times, and he was just so so lovely.

Molly-Mae continued: "When I read the news, I kept on waiting for it to come out as not true. I was up for hours just waiting for it to be like 'oh no that's not true', and now it's days later and it's definitely true. It is just crazy, it's just the saddest thing, and I just cannot stop thinking about his family and his girlfriend."
