Amy Dowden has issued a warning to her Strictly Come Dancing partner JB Gill as they were seen starting a new week of training. The pair made it through to week four of the BBC One dance contest following the show's annual Movie Week.

It was a big night for the BBC One dance contest on Saturday (October 5) as it was the first themed show of the series, which saw the couples channel their inner film stars while performing routines inspired by an array of huge films.

Barbie and Ken were immortalised by Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec while the much-loved Professor Minerva McGonagall from Harry Potter, was re-imagined by Sarah Hadland in a tribute to Dame Maggie Smith following her death last month.

During the show, Strictly fans saw JLS star JB and Welsh dancer Amy perform the American Smooth to the song Pure Imagination from last year's Wonka movie, scoring an impressive 32 out of a possible 40 points.

It was then during the results show that it was confirmed JB and Amy would be dancing into another week of the competition and on Monday (October 7) they offered their first update from training.

In a video posted to JB's Instagram Story, the singer and presenter said: "We're back!" before Amy said: "We've done some hard work. We can't tell you the dance yet but we've done some hard work this morning and just done out interviews with the lovely VT team and then we're going straight back to it."

As they bother agreed the previous week had been a "good" one, Amy said: "We wanted to actually come on and say what?" to which JB continued; "Thank you sooo much. We honestly had so much fun. We're so gratful for you guys for voting for us, sending is through to this week. Week four... we're doing a very, very nice dance this week..."

But it was then that Amy interjected to say: "But it's going to be the most challenging dance yet for you," to which JB agreed: "It will be tough but it's all good. We like challenges." Amy revealed that Monday isn't JB's 'most favoruite' day to which he said: "I'm still trying to learn the dance, then Tuesday we go in on technique and by Wednesday I'm like, 'This actually feels quite good!'"
