Coronation Street fans baffled by 'missing episode' in Stu Carpenter exit as they make same observation

Coronation Street fans were left taking to social media as they commented on Stu Carpenter's sudden exit. The character was seen making the decision to leave Weatherfield after three years.

Actor Bill Fellows had been rumoured to be leaving the ITV soap after first joining in 2021 as Stu and it was during Monday night's (October 14) Corrie that the chef was seen deciding to bid an emotional farewell.

Having realised that his quest to try and mentor troubled teen Mason has put Yasmeen Nazir and her business at risk, chef Stu tells her he has decided to go and live permanently with his granddaughter in Germany as Eliza's father Dom Everett had offered to get Stu a job.

Stu and Yasmeen then admitted that their hearts were no longer in their relationship and the pair shared a farewell drink in the Rovers, where Stu thanked Yasmeen for all she had done for him over the past few years.

Stu was wished well by landlady Jenny Connor and it wasn't long before he donned his hat, put his guitar on his back and left Weatherfield for pastures new.

But the sudden arrival of Stu's departure, who was as mentioned helping tearaway teen Mason, took fans by surprise as they made the same observation.
