Woman to face trial next year after man stabbed
by James Holt · Manchester Evening NewsA woman is to go on trial next year after the stabbing of a man in Bury. Emergency services were called to reports of the knife attack on Limefield Brow at around 8.30am on September 24.
Greater Manchester Police launched an investigation into the alleged attack. Tiffany Sanderson, 37, of no fixed abode, was later charged with assault and remanded into custody.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital from the scene with injuries that were not described as life-threatening or life-changing.

Sanderson appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court on Thursday (October 31) for a plea and trial preparation hearing. She pleaded not guilty during the brief hearing.
A further case management hearing will be held later this month, with a provisional trial date set in March next year.
Previously, a GMP spokesperson said: "Emergency services attended and enquiries established a man in his 40s had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital for treatment on injuries which were not life-threatening or life-changing.
"This was an isolated incident with no wider threat to the community."
