Emmerdale Tom King's death 'confirmed' as soap 'teases' how he'll be killed off in big twist
by Joe Crutchley · Manchester Evening NewsEmmerdale has seemingly revealed the manner in which Tom King, played by James Chase, will meet his end in a shocking twist.
The villainous character has been at the centre of much drama over the past year, notably for his verbal and physical abuse towards his wife Belle Dingle, portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper.
In addition to attacking her, Tom also tormented Belle's cherished dog Piper, leading her to believe the pet had died, only to later reveal it was alive.
Belle eventually broke free from Tom, revealing his 'true' nature to her family in a bid to escape his control. However, Tom has continued to make life difficult for Belle, refusing to let her go.

With her mental health deteriorating, Belle admitted herself into a secure mental health unit last month. Meanwhile, Tom's psychopathic tendencies are gradually being exposed, reports Leeds Live. This week's episodes saw a dramatic turn of events for Tom.
Despite orchestrating attacks on himself to garner sympathy, his efforts were largely ignored. In Tuesday's episode (November 5), Tom attended the village fireworks display, defiantly stating he would not be intimidated.
However, he was enraged when he noticed that the 'Guy' being thrown onto the fire by the Dingles bore a striking resemblance to him. The situation escalated as the villagers watched the Guy burn.
Furthermore, Tom confronted the Dingles, each of whom claimed responsibility for creating the 'Guy'. A threatened Tom retreated but lost his temper, lashing out at his girlfriend Amelia Spencer, played by Daisy Campbell.

However, devotees of the drama are convinced that Emmerdale has subtly indicated how character Tom will meet his end, in light of news that portrayer James Chase is departing the series. An enthusiast speculated on an Emmerdale discussion group on Facebook: "Tom's face when he realised it was him on the bonfire! " Another fan ventured: "Did Emmerdale just hint that Tom's going to die in a fire? ".
One more added: "I thought this too! " while another concurred: "Yep! Hopefully, he'll burn to death." Yet another fan conjectured: "Maybe they'll do a Coronation Street and someone'll bump him off and we'll spend until Xmas guessing whodunnit! " Similarly, one more viewer predicted: "I see a whodunnit coming soon."
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
