Manchester's interest in the League Cup remains high, with both clubs still in the competition. Manchester United host Leicester City tonight in what will be Ruud van Nistelrooy's first game in interim charge of the club.

Half-an-hour later Manchester City continue their push for silverware when they travel to Tottenham Hotspur in a later kick-off. Given that the League Cup offers a prime opportunity for clubs to grab some early-season silverware, most managers are expected to approach these fixtures seriously - although there might be a few line-up changes.

When is the Carabao Cup quarter final draw?

The draw is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, following the conclusion of Spurs' match against City.

That game begins at 8.15pm, so the draw should ideally occur no later than 10.45pm UK time. Fans can watch the draw live on Sky Sports after the City game, and it should also be available for streaming on Sky Sports Football's YouTube channel.

There are no restrictions in this draw, meaning that any side could potentially face any other in the quarter-finals. Here's the list of fixtures and results from the last-16 so far;

The Carabao Cup quarter-final matches are set to take place on the week commencing Monday, December 16. The semi-finals will then be played over two legs, with the first leg starting from January 6 and the second leg the week beginning Monday, February 3.

The final is scheduled to be held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 16.
