Former Strictly Come Dancing star says 'I don't even care' in Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell message

by · Manchester Evening News

One of Strictly Come Dancing's former professional dancers has seemingly pledged her support to Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell after their latest stint in the ballroom.

Comedian Chris, who is Strictly's first blind contestant, and professional dancer Dianne received another standing ovation in the iconic ballroom on Saturday night (October 12) for their Salsa to Down Under by Men At Work.

Following their performance, Dianne gushed that she had never been more proud of Chris as she fought back tears. They were then awarded 30 points out of a possible 40 from the judges, matching their Movie Week score the previous weekend where they performed a jive.

After they discovered they had made it through to week five of the BBC One dance contest, which will be seen this Saturday night (October 19), Dianne took to social media with pictures of their pair in action and once again praised her celebrity partner.

She said: "Once again thank you @chrismccauslandcomedy for trusting me ! when I said we are going to do the kangaroo jump you didn’t even hesitate [crying laughing emoji]. You're a legend and I’m so happy to be able to dance another week with you! To everybody who has been supporting us we thank you soooooo much. Week 5 I can not believe it. You're all BONZA."

And it was Oti Mabuse, who lifted the Glitterball twice during her time on the show from 2015 to 2020, who was quick to respond to the post, writing in the comments section: "Honestly I don’t even care I just love you guys."

Fans were then responding to her comment. @stephanie.louxox replied: "SO REAL." @v_nathan posted: "[red heart emoji] @chrismccauslandcomedy @diannebuswell #MyStrictlyWinners2024." @wasaaaat added: "Outstanding teaching from dianne to get a blind man to move the way he has is OUTSTANDING AND A M A Z I N G!"
