ITV I'm A Celebrity first look with Ant and Dec as Coleen Rooney 'set to star'

We can hear the sound of the iconic drums filling out ears now as the countdown to I'm A Celebrity.... Get Me Out of Here 2024 has begun. ITV has dropped the first glimpse of the upcoming series which is rumoured to be include Coleen Rooney in the line-up.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made their return in the first trailer drop, which aired for the first time on ITV1 on Sunday night (October 13).

In the first look at the highly-anticipated series, the Geordie duo are seen gearing up to welcome a whole host of celebrity guests into Australian jungle.

Ant and Dec are seen in a 'test facility' as the Geordie duo tease a huge twist in the new series. The pair are seen wearing long white lab coats before Ant slammed down on an emergency red button as the pair confirmed that the brand-new series is 'coming soon'.

While the new trailer teased a very exciting series, ITV bosses have yet to share the exact date that the iconic show will return. However, the series usually airs in the middle of November, and will likely return at the same time this year.

The full celebrity line-up is alo yet to be confirmed, but it has been rumoured that bosses have signed Coleen, 38, who is the wife of football star Wayne Rooney, following a very tumultuous couple of years following her court showdown with Rebekah Vardy, the Mirror reports.

Bosses are believed to be praying that Coleen will share everything about her husband, former Manchester United and Everton legend Wayne. Liverpudlian-born Coleen will head out ot Australia next month and will take part in the famous Bushtucker Trials as she competes to earn stars in order to feed her campmates.

"I'm A Celeb bosses have pulled off a huge coup getting Coleen for the jungle this year and the team are thrilled to have her on board," a source told The Sun on Sunday.

Coleen and her sons are said to be huge fans of the programme and often tune in each year to see a variety of celebs swap their lavish lifestyles for a more economic approach, living in the Australian jungle.

A TV source told the Sunday Mirror: "She's in the jungle and she's going to set the record straight on Wagatha. This is a major coup For ITV. The kids are growing up now. The time is right for Coleen. She's got the potential to go all the way and win this."
