Strictly Come Dancing fans have been told they are 'in for a treat' this weekend when it comes to Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell after another tiring week in training.

After making it through to week four of the BBC One dance cotnest last weekend, the comedian and professional dancer have been back in training for their next live performance in the famous ballroom, which will see them dance a Salsa to Men At Work's 'Down Under'.

Talking about their week so far on Wednesday (October 10), Chris said: "It's been alright," to which Dianne agreed: "It's been alright." Chris chipped in: "Better than yesterday," to which Dianne echoed: "Better than yesterday, however, you've had a little sniffle today, haven't you?"

Chris shared: "I've had a cold. I'm falling a part but I'm motoring on because I'm a soldier. But we're getting through the dance, with the song, all the way through, occasionally. Better than where it was yesterday. Yesterday on our video we looked horrific I imagine..."

But according to Dianne's boyfriend Joe Sugg, who met the dancer when they were paired on the hit dance show in 2018 before making the final that year, Strictly fans can expect brillaint things from Chris and Dianne this weekend.

In his latest YouTube vlog, Joe could be seen sitting down for dinner with Dianne as he admitted: "Dianne showed me her dance today," as she interjected: "I didn't get to do any video with Chris. I forgot. We did our own little video..." Joe replied reassuringly: "That's probably more important to be fair."

He added: "Dianne showed me the video so far of the dance routine, first time doing it to music, and when I tell you you're in for a treat this Saturday... Every week I'm more and more amazed I feel like b y your dances." He concluded: "This salsa, you're in for a treat."

And fans were thrilled. Sharing a clip from Joe's vlog on X, @Carlee3091 said: "I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been a bit concerned at the thought of them doing a salsa this week because it’s a haaaardd dance but after hearing this. I’m now very very excited!! Come on Chris!!"

@LeahXBarnes replied: "All my fingers are crossed the lifts go alright. that's the bit that worries me the most but if Joe's happy then thank goodness." @maxbiddle98 added: "Chris is such a hard worker&Dianne’s teaching is unbelievable. I was nervous for them last week with the jive, but they smashed it! If they can get through the jive they can do anything. They will blow us all away like they do every week. Can’t wait."

It comes after Chris and Dianne gave further insight into how things have been going in preparation for their next performance. Appearing on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two on Thursday (October 10) Chris, 47, revealed to Janette Manrara of their routine: "It's been intense.

"There has been more lifts in it than Canary Wharf! There is tricks and lifts and we are both covered in bruises." He joked: "She's had to use make-up to cover up all over her legs..." before adding: "It has been full-on."
