In fact, it’s now been 16 years since the band performed in North America. Their Dig Out Your Soul tour, titled after Oasis’ seventh album of the same name, began in Seattle, Washington on August 26, 2008.

Throughout 2008, they performed across the US, Canada, and Mexico City with gigs taking place in the likes of Las Vegas, Vancouver, New York City, Minneapolis, and Calgary.

Opening with Rock 'n' Roll Star, the tour's set-list included classic songs including Cigarettes & Alcohol, Roll With It, Half The World Away, Don't Look Back in Anger, and Champagne Supernova.

The Dig Out Your Soul tour was cut short at the end of August 2009 after a fight backstage a the I-Day Festival in Italy between the Gallagher brothers. It led to a number of shows being cancelled, with Noel issuing a statement shortly after to say he quit the band. It was their last tour until the 2025 reunion tour was announced.
