Port Alberni woman goes missing in Peachland area: RCMP

West Kelowna RCMP are searching for a missing 40-year-old woman and are asking for the public's help.

Stephanie Woodcock from Port Alberni was seen in the area of Antlers Beach Regional Park near Peachland on Sept. 3, according to a press release from police.

Woodcock last communicated with her family on Sept. 1, and no one has seen her or heard from her since.

Woodcock has a grey 2009 GMC Yukon which has been outfitted to live in. Her Yukon was parked at Antlers Beach and police saw a woman matching her description nearby on Sept. 3.

Since then her vehicle was reported abandoned in the regional park and was impounded by police. No one has had contact with Woodcock since.

Police want to find her to assess her wellbeing.

RCMP describe Woodcock as 40-year-old  Caucasian female with long light brown and blonde curly hair which could be shaved on the sides. Woodcock has nose rings and blue eyes, and is 5’8” tall and 126 lb. She often has an acoustic guitar with her.
