Olly Murs has revealed how Take That bandmate walked in on his wife, Amelia Tank, breastfeeding while on tour. Singer Mark Owen walked in on the new mum and helped calm her down about the anxiety associated with motherhood.

Earlier this year, 40-year-old Olly Murs welcomed his first child with 31-year-old bodybuilder Amelia. The former X Factor star announced the birth of their daughter Madison to the world via his social media account.

However, shortly after her birth, he had to leave the new born behind to tour with Take That. Fortunately, Amelia and Madison were able to join him soon after, reports the Mirror.

During a conversation with the Loose Women panel yesterday, Wednesday, October 2, Olly recalled the incident where his wife attempted to breastfeed her baby backstage, only to be discovered by a cautious Mark Owen, who didn't want to make her feel uneasy.

At that time, Olly was supporting Take That on their UK tour. "I got Amelia in to come and see the show", he said, "she's just there, it made me feel great to have her in the house."

However, as he remembered, Amelia was then concerned about breastfeeding, especially in public. To ease her fears, Olly assured her that she would be safe in the privacy of the dressing room. "And then Mark Owen walked in", he said.

But Amelia's reaction was different from what he anticipated, as he recalled that her concerns seemed to "go out of the window."

Praising Mark for his considerate approach when interacting with Amelia, he said, "Because he's had children, he was just so lovely. He was just like, you know, 'am I okay to come in?' I think it really helped Amelia, actually."

In a recent episode of the Happy mum Happy Baby podcast hosted by Giovanna Fletcher, Olly Murs and his spouse Amelia Tank, who celebrated the arrival of their daughter Madison in April, shared insights into their early parenting journey. Olly recounted an instance after Madison's birth, admitting, "Yeah, that was hard. That was weird", as he only had one hour to spend with his new born before having to depart for a gig.

Emphasising his emotional struggle, he continued, "I knew that Mila's mum was there, which always gave me comfort. I knew Amelia was on her own. I think again, I just went, 'I'm going to work'. And if I overthink this, I'm going to cry my eyes out all the way up to the gig. So, I was kind of like, 'I'm really sorry, babe, but I've got to go.'".
