by · PlymouthLive

A Plymouth pet rescue centre is looking for loving homes for cats in their care. The Woodside Animal Welfare Trust haver cats who are ready to be adopted and will make ideal pets for the appropriate families and households.

The organisation says: "Cats can be viewed strictly by appointment only. If you wish to adopt one of our cats, please call 01752 347503 to arrange a viewing. Once the adoption process is complete and as soon as humanly possible, our staff will arrange for you to collect your cat.

"All cats adoption fees include neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatment. We do offer a discount when adopting a pair."

Fluffy is a 3 year old long haired white female. Sadly Fluffy went missing in her home and when she returned she had become defensive and feisty on occasions. It is likely she had a bad experience in this time. She is a lovely girl but does not like to be picked up. She is fine when stroke her. She is looking for an adult only, pet free home
Wotsit is an adult male neutered short haired black. He is looking for a barn/stable type home as he is feral. With all feral cats we ask that they have a safe area that they can be kept in for 4-6 weeks whilst being introduced to the area. This will need to house Wotsit along with 2 litter trays, food and water bowls, toys, bed and a small scratch post and be safe enough for someone to clean and not let Wotsit escape. All ferals that we home are still required to be given 2 meals a day.
Introducing sweet Sorrella, an inquisitive girl who loves attention. Sorrella lived as an indoor cat in her previous home. But, since arriving at the sanctuary, her curious, adventurous side has shone through and we believe she would love the chance to explore the great outdoors. This nine-year-old girl will sit by the door of her pod watching the world go by – but a window looking out from a loving home would be so much better for this lovely girl! When Sorrella arrived at the sanctuary, she was nervous and unsure of people and her surroundings. But she has quickly found her paws and now loves attention and an ear tickle, although she’s still not too sure about being picked up.She has previously lived with dogs and could potentially do so again.
Ken and Shadow are looking for a home together. Ken is a 2/3 year old male neutered, tabby short haired and Shadow is a 10 year old male black short haired. They are friendly boys but can be nervous with new people, Ken likes to hide away but will come out for food or treats, Shadow is more confident and is happy to be fussed but doesn’t like being picked up.
Kinoko is a 8 1/2 year old short haired female black. She is a friendly girl but needs lots of stimulation and playtime as she can often get bored and become unpredictable. She is not suitable to live with other pets or children. She could be an indoor cat in the right home with lots of playtime and things to do or she will be looking for a home with access to the outdoors where there is no busy roads near by or in a semi-rural area as she has little road sense.
