Plymouth grandmother who was 'friend to all' remembered in latest funeral notices

A "cherished" Plymouth grandmother who died earlier this month was a "friend to all" and will be "missed beyond words", her family said. Susan Chudley, who has died at the age of 71, is one of the loved ones being remembered in the city's latest death notices and funeral announcements.

Christopher Lloyd Barrowdale

On Wednesday 2nd October 2024 Chris gained his angel wings with all his loved ones around him. Chris' legacy will live on in his four children, Ian, Donna, Amy and David; his nine grandchildren, Ty, Ben, Jaydyn, Maddie, Lottie, Ethan, Alfred, Oliver and Oscar; and his two great granddaughters, Winter-Mai and Evie-Mai. Deeply missed by wife Denise. Wherever you are, you are gone, but never forgotten.

Susan Chudley (neé Clark)

(Neé Clark) 05.11.1952 - 10.10.2024. Aged 71 years. Devoted wife of Colin, loving mother to Christopher, Nicholas and Matthew. Cherished grandmother to Harry, Marley, Josh, Harry and Isabelle. Beloved sister of Jennifer, Elizabeth, David & their families.

Missed beyond words, loved & missed friend to all who knew her. God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put his arms around you And whispered "come to me".

Susan's ceremony will be held on Wednesday 23rd October 2024 at 10.30am, Ceremony Room 2, The Park Crematorium, 205 Merafield Road PL7 1UQ. Marion Drew

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marion Drew, at Derriford Hospital on the 19th September 2024, aged 84. She was a treasured mum to Wendy and Paul (deceased), a cherished nan to Julie and Joanne, and partners Adrian and Billy, and a much-loved Great-Nan to Dylan and Kyle, a much loved auntie to Brenda and Paul, Graeme and Sheilagh, Great Aunt to Kevin and Beth, Ryan and Tanisha, Lee, Charlie and Brandon.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen unheard but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.

A private family service is to be held for Marion, the family have requested no flowers please, however if desired donations in Marion’s memory can be made to The British Heart Foundation. The family would like to invite you to a wake they are holding at The Seven Stars in Tamerton Foliot, at 12 o’clock on Friday 25th October. Sheila Margaret Saunders

Aged 93 years Sheila sadly passed away at Devonshire House Care Home with her family by her side. Sheila was a loving mum, nan and Great Nan to all her family. Forever in our hearts. Never forgotten.
