Canadian comedy legend Steve Patterson is bringing his latest hilarious show to the stage in Oliver, aiming to prove not all dad jokes are bad.

PatterDad is coming to the Venables Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Patterson is well known as the host of CBC’s The Debaters. This latest stand-up act sees Patterson bringing his humorous takes on fatherhood.

He dives deep into the funny struggles of being dad to two daughters, promising laugh-out-loud fun that will appeal to any comedy fan.

“This is one of the best shows we’ve ever had the privilege of hosting,” said Rob Balsdon, owner of Train Wreck Comedy which is presenting the show.

“Steve Patterson is simply incredible. Anyone who knows comedy or loves stand-up would be crazy to miss this show. He’s been a mainstay in Canadian comedy for years, and PatterDad is some of his best work yet.”

Fans have already gotten a taste of Patterson's fatherhood humour through Dad Up!, his bestselling book, and the stand-up show expands on the same themes.
