One brought to hospital

UPDATE 1:01 p.m.

One person was brought to hospital following the incident at 30th Avenue and 27th Street in Vernon.

BC Emergency Health Services said it receieved a call at 11:32 a.m. about a car crash involving a motorcycle.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital,” said BC EHS in an email.


ORIGINAL 11:44 a.m.

A motor-vehicle incident has shut down the northbound lanes of 27th Street at 30th Avenue in Vernon.

Emergency crews were dispatched just after 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Witnesses say ambulance crews are treating someone at the scene, but it is not yet known what exactly happened.
