Fatal crash witnesses sought
by Kathy Michaels · CastanetA fatal Tuesday afternoon crash on the Trans Canada Highway, east of Canoe, is the focus of a police investigation.
In a press release, police said their investigation suggests a Toyota mini-van crossed the centre line and collided with a Toyota pickup truck.
BC Ambulance were on the scene and told police the driver and lone occupant of a Toyota mini van was deceased.
"Two occupants in a Toyota pickup truck were transported to hospital with minor injuries," RCMP said.
"The highway was reopened after being closed for three hours."
