Teens survive rollover

Two teenagers were involved in a serious crash on Kelowna's Gordon Drive overnight, near where three young people were killed in a crash back in 2021.

Friday night's single-vehicle crash occurred on Gordon Drive near the bridge over Mission Creek. The blue vehicle rolled several times, seriously damaging the car.

The two teenage girls in the vehicle are believed to have survived the crash, although their condition is not known.

Photos taken from the scene show the vehicle was damaged beyond repair, with deployed airbags and smashed glass.

The crash occurred near where a tragic crash occurred back in May 2021, when three Kelowna Secondary School students were killed in a high-speed crash.

Alcohol and speed were determined to be contributing factors in the 2021 crash.
