‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Gets Disney+ Streaming Premiere Date
by Tim Lammers · ForbesRyan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Marvel blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine is coming soon to streaming on Disney+.
Deadpool & Wolverine marks the debut of the famed superheroes in Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jackman and Reynolds previously starred in the Deadpool and X-Men movies produced by 20th Century Fox, which was rebranded as 20th Century Studios after Disney’s purchase of the legendary movie house in 2017.
As such, the likes of Deadpool, Wolverine and his X-Men movie mutant counterparts—as well as the Fantastic Four—can now appear in the MCU.
Disney+ announced in a YouTube video Wednesday that the R-rated Deadpool & Wolverine would be making its streaming video on demand debut on Disney+ on Tuesday, November 12.
The video announcement is short and is precedent in an irreverent Deadpool-sort of way, where the camera is fixed on a men’s bathroom urinal with a couple of Deadpool and Wolverine urinal cakes.
Once the urinal is flushed, the water stream reveals the film’s release date on Disney+.

It’s unusual that an R-rated film will be allowed to stream on the family-friendly service, but since Disney+ is the home of the MCU, Deadpool & Wolverine will stream there as well.
Normally, any R or even some PG-13 rated films produced by Disney subsidiaries like 20th Century Studios appear on Disney’s Hulu streaming service.
To watch Deadpool & Wolverine on Disney+, you must be a subscriber to the Walt Disney Company-owned streaming service.
