Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be traveling back to Canada tomorrow night (Sat., Nov. 2, 2024) to stage UFC Edmonton live on ESPN+ from inside Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but first the event’s ceremonial weigh ins played out on Friday.
Leading the way at UFC Edmonton will be a main event clash between former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno and red-hot contender Amir Albazi. Moreno will be looking to end a two-fight losing skid — including a title loss to Alexandre Pantoja back at UFC 290 — while Albazi tries to build on an impressive five-fight win streak to start his UFC career.
Luckily, the fun doesn’t stop there. Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas will be back in action as she puts her two-fight win streak on the line against dangerous flyweight contender Erin Blanchfield, who is coming off her first UFC loss in a main event meeting against Manon Fiorot this past March. Also back in action will be UFC knockout king, heavyweight contender Derrick Lewis, when he meets former kickboxing standout Jhonata Diniz on the main card.
Ahead of Saturday’s action, all fighters took to the stage Friday for UFC Edmonton’s ceremonial weigh ins. You can check out the LIVE and FREE stream above when the action gets underway beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. ET.
