Samsung Galaxy S25 Leaks: Samsung is gearing up for the release of its Galaxy S25 series in early 2025, and anticipation is building as leaks and rumours begin to surface. This highly awaited lineup is expected to introduce significant hardware upgrades, and one of the key talking points is the potential use of two different processors across the models. According to the latest reports, Samsung could equip the Galaxy S25 Ultra with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, while the Galaxy S25 and S25+ may feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chipset.

A report from Hankyung Korea (or The Korea Economic Daily) indicates that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset is poised to deliver major improvements in performance and AI-driven features, enhancing the overall user experience. Samsung has long relied on a mix of Snapdragon and Exynos processors for different regions, but the Galaxy S25 series may see a stronger division between models in terms of chipsets.

The Snapdragon-powered Ultra model is expected to compete directly with Apple’s A18 Pro chipset, which was recently introduced with the iPhone 16, placing the two tech giants in a race for AI-driven innovation in mobile technology.

Lower Models To Get Exynos 2500

As for the Exynos 2500 chipset, it might not appear in the Galaxy S25 series as extensively as some earlier rumours suggested. Instead, Samsung could be planning to reserve this processor for its next generation of foldable smartphones.

If true, this would mark a shift in Samsung's strategy, as it traditionally used Exynos chips in its S-series phones for certain regions. The new direction could set Samsung’s foldables apart, offering distinct hardware differences between their foldable and flagship lines.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Specifications (Expected)

On the design front, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to feature a refreshed, slimmer look with curved edges and a more refined build. Reports suggest the Ultra model will include a powerful camera setup with a 200MP main sensor, accompanied by an ultra-wide and two telephoto lenses — both at 50MP — to elevate the device’s photography capabilities.

In addition to camera enhancements, the phone’s dimensions are expected to be more compact than the Galaxy S24 series. The base Galaxy S25 model is rumoured to measure 146.94 x 70.46 x 7.25mm, making it thinner than the Galaxy S24, which comes in at 147 x 70.6 x 7.6mm. The Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra are also expected to slim down compared to their S24 counterparts.

While official details from Samsung are yet to be confirmed, leaks suggest the Galaxy S25 series will bring meaningful upgrades in both design and performance, making it one of the most anticipated smartphone launches of 2025.

With potential innovations in processing power and AI features, Samsung seems poised to take on its competitors head-to-head, promising a flagship experience that could redefine the market.
