PSG vs. PSV lineups, live stream: Where to watch UEFA Champions League online, TV channel, expert picks, odds

The French and Dutch titleholders face off in Paris

by · CBS Sports

Paris Saint-Germain host PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday with the French and Dutch giants going head-to-head at Parc des Princes. Luis Enrique's hosts went down 2-0 to Arsenal in the second round of games while Pete Bosz's visitors drew 1-1 with Sporting CP. Gianluigi Donnarumma was questionable on both Gunners goals in London and will be keen to atone for his role that night. PSG last failed to score in a UCL game in the French capital back in late 2015 which will be welcome news given that PSV are not known for being a threat on the road. The Dutch giants are 100% in the Eredivisie with nine wins from nine having beaten AZ Alkmaar over the weekend. It was a 21st consecutive game scoring at least once for Bosz's side with their last goalless showing back in March when they lost to Borussia Dortmund.

How to watch and odds

  • Date: Tuesday, October 22 | Time: 3 p.m. ET
  • Location: Parc des Princes - Paris, France
  • Watch: Paramount+
  • Odds: PSG -225; Draw +400; PSV +550

League Phase so far

PSG went close a few times, but failed to even score against Arsenal although they do have three points to their name after an opening victory over Girona. Les Parisiens are currently midtable in the UCL standings but unbeaten in Ligue 1 action after a 4-2 win over RC Strasbourg Alsace over the weekend. PSV marks the start of a testing run of games with Olympique de Marseille, RC Lens and Atletico Madrid all coming up in the next few weeks. The last time Paris lost at home was back in late 2020 when Manchester United were victorious. PSV opened with a 3-1 loss to Juventus before that draw with Sporting, but it was an 11th straight UCL outing without a clean sheet. Currently 24th in the rankings -- which is good enough for a playoff spot -- only one of the Dutch outfit's last 18 away trips has seen them win.

Team news

PSG: Randal Kolo Muani missed the Strasbourg game with an injury but will hope to build on a solid international break with France if he can prove his fitness. Goncalo Ramos, Lucas Hernandez and Presnel Kimpembe are all out for this one but Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes and Achraf Hakimi should all return. Senny Mayulu scored over the weekend but will likely drop to the bench for this one.

PSG XI: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, Mendes; Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Neves; Dembélé, Asensio, Barcola

PSV: Jerdy Schouten is expected to miss multiple months through injury on top of Joey Veerman while Sergino Dest and Hirving Lozano are both doubts. Schouten and Veerman out is a massive midfield blow which sees U.S. Men's National Team attacker Malik Tillman primed to start although Bosz can also call on Tygo Land.

PSV XI: Benítez; Mauro Júnior, Flamingo, Boscagli, Dams; Til, Ledezma, Saibari; Bakayoko, De Jong, Tillman

Prediction

PSG will be looking to bounce back from their Arsenal loss in style while PSV have no real way to control the game without Schouten and Veerman so expect the hosts to dominate possession and logically rack up a few goals. Pick: PSG 3, PSV 0.
