Autumn-like temperatures destined for Southland

INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - Weather maps are being reshuffled giving the Southland an autumn-like feel.

KEY POINTS
• Temperatures 5 to 15 degrees above average for inland areas and continued hot in the low deserts Friday
• Temperatures will gradually fall in coming days reaching average by Sunday.
• Locally dense fog for the beaches, coasts, western valleys, and Orange County inland.

Low pressure to the north of Southern California will begin to funnel cooler air into the Southland dragging temperatures below average beginning this weekend. Further cooling west of the mountains early next week as a large trough of low pressure moves onto the West Coast. It will create a deeper marine layer filling the coastal basin with low clouds and a chance of drizzle.
