Last of Line Fire flickering out, more warnings lifted

ANGELUS OAKS – (INT) – More than 16-hundred fire personnel remain on the scene to squelch the remains of the month-old Line Fire.

Containment has reached 87 percent. But, the Forest Service says the biggest concern is around Angelus Oaks off Highway 38 around Mile Creek and the Santa Ana River Drainage.

An evacuation order remains in place for Barton Flats and Seven Oaks. An Evacuation warning for Angelus Oaks was lifted Tuesday.

Highway 330 is closed from Highland Avenue to Highway 18 for repairs to the road and guardrails.

Resources and some crews are being demobilized. “Crews that remain are working on suppression repair and containment line construction,” the Forest Service said.
