Liam Payne's former fiancée, Maya Henry, has finally spoken out following the singer's tragic death yesterday.

Emergency services including police, firefighters and ambulances were spotted outside the hotel after the ex-One Direction star fell from the third floor of a hotel building in Argentina's capital.

It is reported that police were summoned due to reports of a man behaving aggressively at the hotel, possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

As reported by the Mirror, a body was discovered in an internal courtyard of the hotel, with the hotel manager being the one to call the police. It is thought that Liam fell approximately 13 or 14 metres, sustaining "very serious injuries incompatible with life."

In a statement, the local ambulance manager told TN: "At 17.04 through the 911 integrated public safety system, we were alerted of a person who was in an internal courtyard of the management of a south house hotel."

An insider close to Liam's ex Maya - who had previously made several shocking claims about him - revealed to Mail Online: "Right now she is obviously in shock." Reports suggest that Maya only found out about Liam's death when a reporter contacted a member of her team.

They added a message of support for Liam's ex-partner Cheryl and their son Bear, as well as the One Direction family. Jedward, comprised of twins John and Edward Grimes, rose to fame on The X Factor, the same show that launched One Direction's career.

Liam first met Cheryl when he auditioned for the show, and the couple went on to have a high-profile romance, welcoming Bear in 2017 before announcing their separation in 2018. Liam Payne, 31, had always harboured dreams of fatherhood since he was 16 and was eager to lead a tranquil life with Cheryl.

She revealed that Liam was initially reluctant to pursue a solo career after One Direction's hiatus, but at Cheryl's urging, he decided to take the plunge. However, their relationship began to deteriorate subsequently. Liam has even suggested that the birth of their son Bear "ruined" their romance, albeit for "all the right reasons".
