BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers 'expose' feud between Johannes Radebe and Anton Du Beke

BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans are convinced that pro-dancer Johannes Radebe has 'exposed' a feud with judge Anton Du Beke after his comments on Saturday night's show

by · Daily Record

Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts are speculating about a possible tiff between pro-dancer Johannes Radebe and judge Anton Du Beke. Last night, Johannes and his celebrity dance partner, Montell Douglas, left audiences and judges alike in awe with their Viennese Waltz, performing on Saturday 12 December.

The duo scored an impressive 33 out of 40 points, with high commendations from the BBC show's judges like Shirley Ballas. Post-performance, Johannes let slip that he was eager to avoid one particular response from judge Anton - his standing ovation.

As the pair joined host Claudia Winkleman upstairs, Johannes admitted his goal throughout the week was to prevent Anton from rising for an illustrative critique. "What I love about JoJo is that your main aim - and he doesn't know this - was not to get a demonstration from Anton," acknowledged Claudia.

Agreeing, Johannes said: "I said to Montell at the beginning of the week that the last thing I want to see is Anton standing up and reminding us of how to go into hold for the thousandth time." Fortunately for Johannes, Anton's feedback was nothing but positive, declaring their performance his "favourite dance of the night."

Fans picked up on the awkward exchange after Johannes' admission, reports OK!, with one commenting on social media, "JoJo roasting Anton." Another chimed in, adding some spice: "Good to know that Johannes has also had enough of Anton."

One viewer expressed, "Johannes kinda real as f*** for that we don't need an Anton demo every week."

Meanwhile, another chimed in with, "JoJo calling Anton out."

Yet, it wasn't just about the dance routines catching viewers' eyes last show; there were also tense moments noted between Wynne Evans and his dance partner, Katya Jones, that raised eyebrows. During one segment on Saturday's episode, there was a noticeable lack of high-fiving from Katya to her celeb mate, Wynne.

This omission preceded a second 'awkward' interaction which the audience found quite 'uncomfortable'.

This particular occurrence transpired as Wynne and Katya joined fellow contestants and the host Claudia, where Wynne's attempt to put his hand around Katya's waist headed towards her midriff, prompting her to swiftly move it away. Following these scenes making rounds on social media, the pair addressed the issue through an Instagram video apology.

Opening the video, Katya said: "Hello everybody it's Wynne and Katya here. We just wanted to say we were just messing around in the Clauditorium on Saturday night and just want to say sorry."

"It was a silly joke," followed by Wynne who pitched in with: "Yes, sorry". The opera star subsequently penned in the video caption: "Apologies for this tonight we were just messing around. We really are amazing friends. The high 5's is a running joke. Have a great evening @katyajones."
