Channel 4 Gogglebox star Izzi Warner announces she's been single for 18 months

Gogglebox star Izzi Warner left fans with their jaws on the floor as she revealed she's been single for the last 18 months after splitting from her long-term partner.

Gogglebox regular Izzi Warner stunned viewers with a frank announcement about her love life during the show, revealing she's been riding solo for quite some time.

The much-loved Channel 4 celeb, known for her appearances with sister Ellie, caught fans off guard when she shared that she and long-standing beau Grant had called it quits. The duo had been together for years, prior to Izzi posting pictures of Grant online in 2014. Having cohabitated in Leeds with their two children, son Bobby and daughter Bessie Rose, Izzi opened up about their split, mentioning they went separate ways a year and a half ago.

During Friday's episode, she discussed exactly what she's looking for in a new man, reciting her 'Mary Poppins' list, following a nudge from Ellie about her dream partner criteria. Izzi teased Ellie: "My partner who is practically perfect in every way, do you want to hear it? It's quite extensive.

"I've separated it into essentials and nice-to-haves. So on the essentials we've got: hardworking, open-minded, kind, attractive, good with money, clean criminal record, zero drugs police/no drink problem, emotional intelligence, full head of hair, patient, discreet, loyal, supports my hobbies, wants to be my plus one," reports the Mirror.

"And then nice to haves: nice teeth, nice car, generous, good style, taller than me, cooks nice dinners. So hence why I've been single for the last 18 months."

On the platform formerly known as Twitter, fans of Gogglebox were left gobsmacked when one viewer tweeted: "Wait, Izzi is single? #Gogglebox."

Another chimed in with their astonishment: "Izzi single? I never knew that."

A third fan expressed their surprise, posting: "Wait what did izzy say that she was single? ".

Back in May, followers praised mortgage advisor Izzi for embarking on her "first solo" holiday with her children. She gave a glimpse into her Disney trip through a video montage, saying: "This was my first solo trip abroad with kids and I just threw myself in at the deep end but I am so glad I did! It was super tiring but so worth it for the memories we've made. This won't be my last trip with them now I've done the first but maybe somewhere a bit more relaxing next time."

Fellow Gogglebox star Baasit Siddiqui responded to her adventure: "Awww looks like you had an amazing time. Well done for being outnumbered! It's hard enough when both me and Mel have the munchkins together!"

The revelation comes after Izzi announced a thrilling new family member, revealing on Instagram that she's "not just a regular Mom, I'm a horse Mom," alongside a photo with her new equine friend.

With a huge smile, Izzi told her fans: "It honestly feels like a childhood dream come true. I feel so lucky to have found such a special girl to make memories with."

She also disclosed her horse's name, adding: "Some things are just meant to Bea."

When quizzed on whether the horse was for her or the children, Izzi responded that the equine was solely hers, elaborating: "She's 15.2hh and built like a table so no. You just can't see her size from front on."

Echoing a fan's observation, "Look at her feet. She's not small! ," Izzi exclaimed: "They're like dinner plates! ".
