Amazon deal sees Lenovo tablet bundle drop below £160
by Prudence Wade, https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/authors/prudence-wade/ · Daily RecordTablets are a brilliant option if you’re looking for a handheld computer that will handle entertainment, work and learning, and you needn’t shell out for the biggest names to get a high-quality one. Right now the 11-inch, 128GB Lenovo Tab M11 Android Tablet is just £159.99 down from £209.99 on Amazon. There’s also a 9-inch HD version with 64GB of storage for £99.99, and a 10-inch full HD option at £129.99 complete with a case.
Lenovo, renowned for its laptop range that goes toe-to-toe with the most popular brands whilst keeping prices low, has packed this tablet with an octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM to enable strong performance whilst multitasking, gaming, and streaming videos. Its included stylus — exclusive to the £159.99 option — makes note-taking and graphic design far easier too, providing a notepad-like experience.
Its 11-inch full HD display has a premium edge and vivid visuals, and its quad-speaker setup from Dolby Atmos produces outstanding sound quality. Battery life is solid too, with a full charge providing up to 10 hours of video streaming. Lenovo’s AI smart scanner function turns its 8MP rear camera in an ideal document converter, producing A4 PDFs of real-world paperwork in seconds, and it even comes with a case to protect it from bumps, drops and scratches.

With 4.5 out of 5 stars from over 150 ratings, this Lenovo tablet has proven a winner with Amazon customers. “The fact that this comes with a very sturdy flip-over case with a clip in stylus makes this a great all-round Android tablet,” said one five-star review. “Perfect for Facebook and WhatsApp and internet browsing as well as having a surprisingly good sound that's fine for watching catch-up TV or the odd film on Amazon or Netflix. Battery life is pretty good too and it charges fairly quickly. For the price, it's hard to beat.”
Another has found tonnes of utility with the included stylus: “I got it because I like to write by hand, and hate dictating it or typing up. Handwriting recognition, through Nebo app, is pretty good. It doesn't get upset at your hand touching the screen at the same time as the pen so it's actually usable for note-taking. It can read my scribbles, which change and get worse the longer I write.”
Another simply added: “Good value. Fast , does everything you'd expect. Very good battery life. Very impressed so far.”
At this price point, it’s fair to expect occasional performance hiccoughs. “I occasionally encountered issues with the screen being unresponsive, which often required a reboot to fix,” said one customer. Another noted: “It’s not too bad, a bit slow and lags a bit. But watching stuff on it isn’t too bad.”
While the Lenovo offers great value at £159.99, those on a tighter budget might consider the Leaper tablet for £53.99 (reduced from £58.99) from Debenhams. On the opposite end of the scale - if you're looking for incredible performance and a lovely form factor, the new Apple iPad Mini is £599 at Currys.
