Beauty deal of the week
With shorter days now fully in swing, experts are warning that approximately a third of UK adults are at risk of being low on Vitamin D due to a lack of sunshine and the limited amount of time we spend outdoors.
According to the NHS, Vitamin D helps regulate the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body, keeping bones, teeth and muscles healthy. It's so important in fact, that government advice is that 'everyone should consider taking a daily Vitamin D supplement during the autumn and winter.'
These Vitamin D3 and K2 tablets from Nutrition Geeks cost just £9.99 for an entire year's supply, and shoppers say they feel like they have "a lot more energy" and have benefited from improved moods too.
The Vitamin D3 and K2 tablets from Nutrition Geeks contain the recommended dose of 4000 iu of Vit D per day, plus an added extra of Vitamin K2 to ensure that calcium is deposited in your bones and not the arteries. At just £9.99 for the entire year, this 365 piece pack works out at less than three pence per tablet, which is cheaper than brands available at both Superdrug and Tesco.
This five star review reads: "I decided to try these due to having a vitamin d deficiency. The size of the tablets make them easy to swallow, since taking these my mood improved drastically and i have felt stronger and better in myself.
