Strictly Come Dancing is all set to grace our screens again on BBC One this weekend, with the dancing duos facing the formidable challenge of mastering some complex Latin and Ballroom routines. Fresh off the heels of the widely acclaimed Movie Week, the expectations are sky-high for the celebrities to exceed their last performances.

Yet, before the highly-anticipated live show kicks off, the BBC has unveiled the roster of songs and dances. Noticeably absent though is Nick Knowles, who, having been sidelined during Movie Week due to injury, remains unlisted for the upcoming show.

The broadcasting corporation kept it brief, stating only: "We will update with more news on Nick when we have it."

Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman extended their best wishes to an absent Nick in the previous programme, following his unplanned withdrawal.

A Strictly spokesperson previously remarked: "Unfortunately, Nick Knowles sustained an injury during rehearsals and as a result, will not dance this weekend. As per the rules of the competition, Nick and Luba will receive a bye through to next week when he is hopefully able to dance again."

They further added, rooting for Nick's quick return to health: "Everyone at Strictly Come Dancing wishes Nick a speedy recovery."

The injured star could be spied resting his knee while tuning into the Movie Week spectacle from the comfort of his home.

The eagerly awaited songs and dances for the looming weekend showdown include:

Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe will glide through a Viennese Waltz to Nobody Gets Me by SZA.

Punam Krishan alongside Gorka Marquez are set to rock a Jive to 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) by Lizzo.

Sam Quek MBE partnered with Nikita Kuzmin will samba away to Hips Don't Lie by Shakira.

Lastly, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola aim to charm with a Foxtrot to Birds Of A Feather by Billie Eilish.

Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec are set to dazzle with a Charleston to Anne-Marie and Shania Twain's track 'Unhealthy'.

Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell are gearing up for a Salsa to the iconic 'Down Under' by Men At Work.

Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas will take on a Salsa routine to the infectious rhythms of Don Omar ft. Lucenzo's 'Danza Kuduro'.

JB Gill is partnering with Amy Dowden for a Rumba to Kara Marni's 'You Might Need Somebody'.

Paul Merson and Karen Hauer will be Quickstepping their way across the floor to Fred Astaire's classic 'I Won't Dance'.

Pete Wicks and Jowitza Przystal will bring energy to the stage with a Quickstep to 'Town Called Malice' by The Jam.

Shayne Ward teams up with Nancy Xu for a Cha Cha extravaganza to Sub Sub feat. Melanie Williams' 'Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use)'.

Wynne Evans and Katya Jones are preparing a Tango set to ABBA's 'Money, Money, Money'.

Nick expressed his disappointment on Instagram last week, saying: "Gutted not to be out there with everyone tonight on the @bbcstrictly dance floor, but still suited up and cheering them on from the sofa."

Without any new updates on his training this week, fans are growing increasingly concerned.

Shirley Ballas, the head judge, shared news on Virgin Radio UK regarding his condition: "Apparently, he is possibly on the mend."

"We are hoping that by the weekend he will be back because he is an asset to the show."
