Amanda Holden has accrued a playful new nickname from her Heart radio colleagues after she noticed a bit of weight gain during her impressive charity cycle.

The much-loved broadcaster successfully completed her Big Ride To Work, pedalling for Global's Make Some Noise campaign and raised an extraordinary £375,000 for the cause.

Her co-presenter JK informed the Heart listeners on Friday, October 11th, declaring "an incredible week and an incredible challenge" had come to an end.

Before he unveiled the massive amount of money raised, JK quipped, "This is an exciting moment. Would you like to know how much you've raised for Global's Make Some Noise? This is the moment. This is what you've been doing it for. The only reason."

In response, Amanda said humorously: "The only reason, because can I just say something? I weigh more now than I did at the start of the week? Can I just point that out? Because I know that's not important to a lot of people but it is to me."

Subsequently, JK couldn't resist dubbing her "muscles" based on her commendable athletic achievement.

However, it seemed that Amanda wasn't too chuffed with her latest epithet as she retorted, ""I don't care about the muscles - I wanted the weight loss. "Spanning 250 miles from Cornwall to London, Amandas charity ride was not short on challenges, with tyre punctures and inclement weather. Yet, completing her journey, Amanda reflected, "It was amazing!

The weather was terrible some of the hills were barbaric, but what a gorgeous way to see the UK.

"During the third day of her charity bike ride, Amanda experienced a poignant moment when she was reunited with Pippa Nightingale, the midwife who played a crucial role in saving her life.Reflecting on their bond, the presenter shared: "I met Pippa years ago when I was making a documentary about midwifery and we became friends from that. ""But thereafter she supported me through my very sad stillbirth that I had with my beautiful son Theo and she's basically been there for the whole thing.

"Amanda continued: "And then when I had Hollie, that birth wasn't an easy one either and she basically saved my life during the birth of my little girl Hollie who is now 12. ""She's a friend for life and honestly any time I've got an emergency or anything that happens to one of the girls or me, Pippa is always the first person I call.

She is like the light, the strength, she's a good laugh she can drink me under the table!

There's a million other reasons I love her. ""But primarily she's just got the answer to everything, always, she's brilliant I love her, I love you.".
